As a Local 30 member, you have access to a robust Apprenticeship Training Program and Skills Improvement Program, designed to help you gain new skills, improve your techniques and advance your career as an Operating Engineer.
Local 30’s Apprentice Training and Skill Improvement Programs are continually reviewed and revised to keep pace with the dynamics of our changing industry and the needs of our members. In assisting our members as they achieve their personal and professional goals, we strengthen our Local Union and ensure a prosperous future for generations of Engineers to follow.
Apprenticeship Training Program Course List
The Apprentice Training Program offers training that provides successful graduates with marketable skills to find employment as a Mechanic or Engineer in the field of Stationary Engineering.
The following courses provide students with an understanding of the industry, mechanical and physical theories necessary to operate machinery and knowledge of the technical issues dealing with the operation and maintenance of industrial and commercial properties.
