About Local 30

We Power and Maintain the
New York and Connecticut region.

For over one hundred years IUOE Local 30 has raised the standards for engineers and facilities maintenance workers in the New York and Connecticut region.  Local 30 members are the men and women that power and maintain our energy centers, medical centers, retail centers, athletic centers, educational centers and industrial centers.

We protect working families through negotiating industry leading contracts that establish living wages, benefits that support families and work rules that are focused on safety and sustainability.

Local 30 members are the best trained engineers and facilities maintenance workers in the region.  Our training and apprenticeship programs are on the cutting edge of technological advances in the industry.  The most important and complex power systems in New York and Connecticut are run by IUOE Local 30 members.

Local 30 is dedicated to organizing and raising standards for workers in the industry.  All Local 30 members stand with workers that are fighting to have a voice at work.
